Leo Durocher
Definition
(Noun) Baseball player to player/manager to manager of the 1930s/1940s/1950s. Successful, bossy, brassy, obstreperous, pugnacious, high-living, wise-cracking ... .Usage: "Leo the Lip" once called "Time Out!" so he could chew out an opposing player at close-range. (And, from his dugout, Leo would taunt this player - Hank Sauer - with shouts of "Pontiac!" because he said Sauer's nose was so big that it reminded him of a car's hood ornament.)
